CRUD began its charitable work on an occasional basis in 1995. By September 1998, it had transitioned into a well-structured organization, operating with a clear mission and dedicated leadership. CRUD is governed by both an Executive Committee and a General Committee, with the latter electing the Executive Committee through a voting process.
After five years of rigorous monitoring, the Ministry of Social Welfare officially recognized CRUD as a registered NGO (Non-Government Organization). In 2013, the NGO Affairs Bureau further approved CRUD to receive foreign donations, enabling us to expand our impact and serve communities more effectively. Today, CRUD is fully authorized to accept international funding, strengthening our ability to drive sustainable change.
